What Is Online Chess?

Chess Game Rules
The objective of the game is to trap the opponent’s king in such a way that it has no legal moves to escape capture
- Move Pieces according to their specific rules: Each type of place (king, queen, rook, bishop, knight, pawn) has unique movement capabilities.
- Capture opponent’s pieces: Move a piece to a square occupied by an opponent’s piece to capture it and remove it from the board.
- Protect your king from check: If your king is under attack ( in “check” ). You must make a move to remove the threat.
- Achieve Checkmate: Trap the opponent’s king in a position where it is under attack and cannot escape, resulting in a win
Special Rules for Chess Win
- In a 1v1 game, each player shall have exactly 40 (forty) moves during the duration of one game.
- In a 1v2 or 1v3 game (team or handicap formats), each player shall have exactly 30 (thirty) moves during the duration of one game.
- The type of moves (e.g., pawn, knight, bishop, rook, queen, king) shall be selected from a predetermined set of legal chess moves based on the current board state
- The sequence of moves available to players shall be governed by a shared move reel, which refers to the preset sequence of tactical opportunities (e.g., forks, pins, checks) shown to all players.
- Each piece type (pawn, knight, etc.) may be used a maximum of seven times for initiating a move during a single game. This ensures strategic diversity and prevents overuse of any one piece.
- The probability of initiating a move with a specific piece type during the course of a single game is governed by the following constraints:
- Each piece type runs a chance of appearing anywhere between 0 and 7 times during a single game.
- No piece type shall appear more than 7 (seven) times as the initiating piece for a move during the game.
